Prayer Breakfast Video -- Times Like These

Making this video was a great privilege. Dad and Eden stood and sang at the Governor's Prayer Breakfast, reminding our State House Representatives, Senate Leaders, and Governor how we need them to rely on God during these times.

I love the part in this video where a senator is praying. I love how on his way to work he sees a young mom who needs help, and he rushes to her aid and then the look on his face that he feels genuinely good for who he is and fulfilling his mission. He is devoted to his cause, and I'm grateful for senators and representatives who are led by God.

I loved talking with Ed Murray, and hearing about his daughter Meg who was my friend. He told stories of her faith when she was growing up, and I know he makes family time a priority and faith in God guides his decisions. I'm grateful for people like him in office.

We truly need our government officials to turn to God. To see them all gathered together in prayer for our country, and for their lives was incredible. Who knows if they have been put into office for "such a time as this?"
