4. FIND YOUR VOICE

The 8th Habit is to find your voice and help others find theirs.

"When you engage in work that taps your talent and fuels your passion -- that rises our of a great need in the world that you feel drawn by conscience to meet -- therein lies your voice."

Above is a quick 1 minute video by Stephen Covey about finding your voice.

“Passion is the fire, enthusiasm and courage that an individual feels when she is doing something she loves while accomplishing worthy ends, something that satisfies her deepest needs.” —Stephen Covey

Here are some questions to ask yourself when trying to find your voice: (thanks to Amanda Woodward and Stephen Covey!)

What are your talents?

What are your natural gifts?

What are your strengths?

What naturally energizes you?

Whare are you excited about?

What motivates you?

What have you been inspired to do?

What can you make or do that the world needs and would pay for?

What need in the world do you feel drawn to do something about?

What have you been prompted to study?

Which talents should you develop?

What have you always wanted to learn?

What do you learn easily?

What comes easily to you?

What do you enjoy doing?

What do you dream of?

Where to you want to be in 1, 5, 10 years?
