3. YOU ARE BOUNDLESSLY FREE

You see, we live within bounds, afraid of what we could become. A while ago in a lecture, we discussed qualities inherent to us. I believe we are spiritual beings having an earthly experience. One of these qualities that keeps coming to mind is that every human being is "boundlessly free." What does it mean to be boundlessly free? We talked to some mothers with disabled children who said, you know they are almost a better example to us. In their minds they can do anything, they don't have the same bounds that keep them "practical" as we do. They can become anything they think they can.

I loved being part of Make A Wish Foundation because anything these kids dreamt of, we could help them become. One of the little girls I worked with had spina biffida and could not move. Yet, she loved staring at twirly spirals her mom put up on her ceiling. Though she could not talk, she could communicate to me what color she wanted to paint with by blinking. Then her mom strung

yarn from her ceiling and we put her hand in that yarn like a sling. She could then move her muscles just enough to direct her arm and paint what she saw in her minds eye. This sweet, sweet 3 year old girl Tabitha passed away, but I learned so many lessons from her. She wanted to be Alice in Wonderland, and that's who she was when she was at Walt Disney World. A friend made her a dress and we even gave her the cheshire cat to take with her. She had an enthusiasm for life. She didn't like it when people wore drab colors, so at her funeral everyone wore bright colors. She was truly boundlessly free.

The bounds we put on ourselves are just created through our minds. Our Spirits are powerful beyond measure, made in the image of God, and glorious!
