Christmas Memories!

The train set was a hit! The barbie that jumps up into her horse as it's walking was the highlight present (thanks G'ma and Grandad). When Milah opened it she said "This is all I wanted for Christmas!!!" Three year olds are easily pleased.

Dan's family has a tradition that has been around over 40 years. Peppermint snow balls with hot fudge. It's a great way to celebrate Christmas Eve!

ABOVE (Right): Lights at the Layton Hills Mall. We also visited with Grandpa Holbrook, and the Olson's. Dan and I also enjoyed a temple session and saw Star Wars, of course!

ABOVE I think she's excited for Christmas!

BELOW (Right): We visited the Children's museum in Salt Lake City and the City Creek Mall for a lot of fun! I enjoyed sewing Milah a monster at the museum and Dan gave the girls rides in the crane, lifting them high up in the air and swinging them back and forth, haha!

(Left): The Charlie Brown ornaments were made completely out of candy by local artists.

That's a big fish! Denver Acquarium Trip with Brown's

BELOW RIGHT: Grandma and

Grandpa came to visit from California. Milah loved making homemade noodles in honor of Gee Gee!

BELOW LEFT: We saw some BIG fish at the acquarium, experienced a simulated flash flood, and Brielle learned to say "That scared me!" about a fake gorilla. She loved the thrill!

ABOVE: Savannah received her endowments in the Denver temple. We had a beautiful discussion about Temple symbolism in the Old Testament taught by Mom.

ABOVE: We had a fun New Year's Eve party with Dinner at the

Tepanyaki Grill, then a fun PVC Nerf war and family Sardines game. We've been enjoying playing Flash Point, a cooperative board game that requires everyone to band together to fight fires.

We had a beautiful ski day at Steamboat. Topped off with a warm fireplace and delicious dinner. For the evening entertainment? A WY basketball game with good friends Stephen and Pam.

I took the ornaments off our tree and woke up to this: while we slept milah had put all the ornaments back on, turned on the tree lights and said "mom! Our tree needs to look beautiful! Don't take the decorations off!" Love that girl.
