The Lord Needs You Now!

Heavenly Father needs you to clearly understand your mission and purpose. He has a great work that he needs each of us to do and we just have to go to Him and He will put the pieces in place. As I've begun opening myself and being willing to act no matter what He inspires me to do, I see how He is putting the pieces in place to teach me what I need to know.

Once you know your mission and begin to fulfill it, don't fear opposition, EXPECT it! When we begin in our great work, Satan begins to say "Oh no you don't" and try to thwart our efforts. Push through the hard times by acting on the promptings you receive. I testify that angels will assist you in your great work.

I just read a message from M. Russell Ballard in this month's Ensign that I feel to share:

"The world in which we now live is moving rapidly away from the teaching of Christ in its laws and its customs. As a result, Satan is working overtime to confuse God's sons and daughters and to divert the very elect from fulfilling their duty and receiving a fulness of the Lord's blessings.

Satan wants you to stop practicing good habits you learned at home, in seminary and institute, and on your missions--such as having daily scripture study, praying daily, worthily partaking of the sacrament weekly, and giving genuine, heartfelt service. He also wants you to stand on the sidelines in today's important and crucial battles.

Remember, we are at war---but not a war of guns and bullets. Nevertheless, the war is real, with countless human casualties. The war is in fact a continuation of the one that began in the premortal world.

Paul invited us to 'put on the whole armour of God.' He said, 'For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places' (Ephesians 6:11-12)."

I testify that we do work against the rulers of the darkness of this world. Satan targets you young mothers most of all! You are incredibly important to Heavenly Father and His great work! You have an individual part in His plan. He needs you to be a part of His war. A few months ago I was facing some intense opposition with some things I wrote concerning marriage between a man and a woman. I was wondering if I was saying too much or too strongly. I was being told very hurtful things by a friend. The Lord spoke to me that day through music: "I will not be a casualty of a war I didn't start, I'll fight with a fearless heart." This isn't a war of guns and bullets, it's a war of ideas; it's a war against the ideas Satan plants in your head. You are enough! You are a good mother! You are beautiful! Your husband adores you. He does enough to help you. It's not about what you do, but about who you are. You a daughter of Divinity, a daughter with eternal destiny. You cannot dissapoint Father, He loves you unconditionally. Strengthening families starts with you! I am so excited to share how I have been empowered against Satan by more clearly understanding my Divine Nature and what I uniquely contribute to the world.
