When I was young, my mom kept this exact piece of paper on our fridge. It was the only thing on our fridge (I love clean, white fridges too). Over 20 years on a fridge pretty much makes it an heirloom, so when she gave it to me I was touched. It's true, I didn't care what my mom wore or how big our house was, but I really cared about my mom being there. So thanks Mom for being home with us and for shaping our souls.

Daddy makes a living

so the mother of all living

can shape their souls

and make them whole,

she's come to know

she's the mother of all living

("Mother of All Living" song)

Mom, you know -- and love -- your Divine role of mother. I admire you.
